Sullivan Township Board Meeting Minutes December 7, 2021
Meeting was called to order by Tony Mabrito at 6:30 p.m. with the Pledge of Allegiance.
Present: Tony Mabrito-Supervisor, Libby Spencer-Clerk, Tracey McGhan-Treasurer, Joe Kremm-Trustee, John Carr-Trustee
Residents: 4 residents
It was moved by Joe Kremm supported by Tracey McGhan, to accept the minutes of the regular meeting held. Motion carried.
Finance: The Treasurer’s report on Township receipts of $10,778.72 for the period of November 1, 2021, to November 30, 2021 was presented by Treasurer Tracey McGhan.
It was moved by Joe Kremm supported by Tracey McGhan, to pay bills of $29,023.49 as presented by Clerk Libby Spencer. Motion carried.
Planning Commission: John Carr reported that the planning commission is working on a flow chart for advancing zoning activities. They are also working on an ordinance for Solar farms
Old Business: Tracey McGhan reported that the new Sullivan Township Website should be ready by January of 2022
New Business: Libby Spencer made the motion to approve the Farmland Agreement for two Gerkin-Way Properties (PA 116) Tony seconded and the motion was approved.
Deb Vetting and Jennifer Herrington have been hired as our new Cleaning Staff.
Heather Rios was appointed to the Planning Commission and will also serve as their secretary.
John Carr and Joe Kremm gave an update on the new ORV Ordinance that they are working on.
Bonthuis Builders completed the new Roof on the Township Hall this month.
It was voted on to move the Board meetings to 5:30pm on Tuesdays for the 2022 calendar year
John Carr raised concerns with Semi-trailers and shipping containers being used within the township as storage. Some are not well maintained and are considered an eyesore.
Adjournment: With no other business to come before the Board, it was moved that by Joe Kremm and supported by Tracey McGhan that we adjourn at 7:20pm.
