Sullivan Township Board Special Meeting Minutes   July 30, 2024

The Meeting was called to order by Tony Mabrito at 6:30pm.

ROLL CALL: Present: Tony Mabrito-Supervisor, Libby Spencer-Clerk, Tracey McGhan-Treasurer, Joe Kremm-Trustee, Jeremy Rios-Trustee, no residents were in attendance.

NEW BUSINESS: Clerk Spencer explained that it had been brought to our attention that the Fire Protection Millage passed in 2015 expires at the end of this year.  A new resolution needed to be approved by the Board Members to meet the timeline to add it to the November Ballot.  The Sullivan Township Board wishes to two (2) mills to provide emergency fire protection services.  A roll call vote was made by Libby Spencer, seconded by Tracey McGhan.  Tony Mabrito, Joe Kremm, and Jeremy Rios all voted “Aye”. The motion carried.  The clerk will submit the millage proposal to be placed on the November 5, 2024, election Ballot.

There being no further business to come before the Board, it was moved by Libby Spencer supported by Tracey McGhan to adjourn at 6:45pm.  Motion carried.
